I’ve made it a pretty good habit and it’s rare that I’ll forget one of them (although I did forget to wear a belt to work yesterday, which was kinda embarrassing, so maybe I should add that to my morning checklist).

US Business Development Manager Appointed

Ken Erickson has been appointed as the US Business development Manager. Ken has over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing management in the consumer and security industries. One of his career highlights was being honored by a major trade association as one of the top 100 U.S. marketing executives for securing substantial market share for 2 corporations. In 1996, Ken started his own marketing and product development consulting firm, KRE Management Group, which specializes in the progression of companies and products in the U.S. market. KRE Management Group also supports activities in the U.S. for manufacturers in Canada, England and China.
Deal signed with Master Locksmiths

ECKey has signed a partnership with the Master Locksmith Association of Australasia to provide relay units across Australia and New Zealand. The Association is a leading provider of advice, service and products to locksmith businesses in the Australasia market and ECKey are delighted to working with them on this exciting opportunity. Renaming as ECKey

Resonance Systems Limited has changed its name to ECKey Limited (pronounced Eee Cee Key). CEO Nick Willis said "As a company working around the world it is important to have a consistent brand that our partners can use to communicate with their customers, whether they are talking about the company or the technology”. The ECKey name and logo have been secured with company names, trademarks and URLs. ECKey is a derivative of ElectroniC Key.

In selecting investments, Sparkbox back committed founders and company management who have enthusiasm, integrity and a strong clear vision for their company.
The New Zealand Venture Investment Fund Limited (VIF) is a Crown Owned Company established under the Companies Act 1993 and incorporated in June 2002. Based in Auckland, the Company is governed by a private sector Board of Directors and managed by a dedicated Management team. NZVIF is contracted by the New Zealand Government to administer the Venture Capital and Seed Co-investment Programmes.
Research and Development Grant from FRST

ECKey (previously Resonance Systems) was successfully granted a grant for private sector research and development from the Foundation of Research Science and Technology. This supports the new investment in R&D that extends ECKey's capability in the technological research and development to support the global demand.
Awarded IP Grant by the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise
